June 4 THE MAGGIE McCABE CELTIC TRIO The quartet pictured to the right is the well known "McCabe's Ladies" who have wowed metro area audiences for years. A trio will perform in Marine City but none of the verve and passion of these Irish women will be diminished. www.maggiemccabe.com
June 18 WENDY SMITH and the BLUE VELVET BLUEGRASS BAND Wendy Smith plays mandolin and he has been a performing musician since the 1950's. Blue Velvet has been together for many years and they have made several records. They perform the great old standards of the bluegrass tradition and some new songs written by Wendy.
July 2 ONE LOVE REGGAE BAND One Love is dedicated to the idea of playing authentic roots reggae music. Band members are proud of their ability to win over audiences and provide excellent entertainment. They have made several records and will be selling them during their appearance in Marine City.

July 30 REDHILL COUNTRY BAND Described as a group that does country music with an edge, REDHILL has been together for a bitover six years and has received 13 nominationsfrom Detroit Music Awards. They are regulars at Detroit Country Hoe Down and the former Pontiac Arts, Beats and Eats. They present a polished performance that mixes country, rock, R&B and a dash of soul.
August 6 THE CLASSICS BAND That name puts it in a nutshell. This group concentrates on oldies rock and audiences love them. "Classics" has played most of the venues of the Blue Water area and are well known to local audiences. Summer Concert Series audiences have asked for 50's/60's rock and here it is performed by our neighbors from the east side.
August 27 MUSTARD'S RETREAT This extraordinary folk duo has been performing since the 1970's. They have played all over the U.S. and maintain a very busy performance schedule. They have made thirteen records over the years and will be selling some of them during their appearance in Marine City. They appear frequently in Lexington, Port Sanilac and Port Huron in folk music festivals and concerts but this is their first performance in Marine City. It's a sure thing you will deeply enjoy their performance and want them back in town soon.
