The Marine City VFW has arranged for a community information tent to be erected in Broadway Park on Saturday, July 10 beginning about 8:30 a.m. and open most of the day. Almost every civic club, organization, or association in Marine City will be present to distribute literature, hold membership drives and talk with interested visitors. In keeping with the music festival the park will also host an impromptu, open folk music jam. A hot dog vendor and a snow cone seller round out this old fashioned gathering of townsfolk.
